PANORAMA LANGKAWI SDN BHD LAUNCHES THE ‘SKYCAB DUCK TOUR COMBO’ AND ALSO ANNOUNCES CHINESE NEW YEAR FESTIVITIES

LANGKAWI, Tuesday – Panorama Langkawi Sdn. Bhd the operator of the cable car service in Langkawi today launched their latest collaboration, the ‘SkyCab Duck Tour Combo’ together with Duck Tour Sdn Bhd.

The Langkawi Duck Tour is an amphibious tour bus ride that starts its journey at Panorama Langkawi parking area and travels 2 km to Telaga Harbour where it enters the sea and continues a tour of the harbour giving passengers the exhilaration of travelling on both land and sea.

“This collaboration between Panorama Langkawi and Langkawi Duck Tours will further diversify Panorama Langkawi’s product offerings and also provide an alternative ride to visitors. With this collaboration our passengers can now experience a ride on land, in the sea and up the mountains” said Panorama Langkawi’s Chief Operating Officer, En Ebi Azly Abdullah after a stakeholder briefing on the new product offerings and package pricings.

Panorama Langkawi received warm response to the promotions that were launch in 2011 receiving a ridership of over 700,000 visitors. Among the available offerings at Panorama Langkawi are the SkyCab, SkyBridge and the recently launched SkyPos, a collaboration with Pos Malaysia.

According to En Ebi Azly “We will be announcing many more exciting and innovative new products in the months to come. 2012 will be an exciting year at Panorama Langkawi”. With these new offerings and also due to a predicted increase in the overall visitors to Langkawi in 2012, Panorama Langkawi targets an 18% increase in passengers this year.

On another note, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year festivities, a Lion Dance troup have been invited to perform on the North Deck atop Mt Machinchang on the 25th of January at 10am. There will also be performances by a clown to entertain the children and mandarin oranges will be handed out to the visitors. Visitors also can   try their hand at batik painting on specially designed Chinese New Year themed batik pieces, this artiistic endeavour is a collaboration with the Langkawi Craft Complex.
